An Amazing Week on AMI

We chose Avenue E by the Sea for our second summer on Anna Maria after staying in Bradenton last year. This is a beautiful house! Nicely decorated and bright-it felt like a home for the week. The elevator was a lifesaver-we had someone with a leg brace/boot on and it made maneuvering a breeze for her! The kitchen is well equipped for any type of cooking you desire-we especially enjoyed the Margaritaville blender and made cocktails every evening to take to the beach. The place was immaculate and there were plenty of towels for our party of 8. The layout is a bit strange as the kitchen/main living area and master bedroom are all on the third level, but it wasn’t really an issue…I def got a good leg workout from taking the stairs! The beach is only a little over a block away and you can walk across the road to Walgreens-this is great for people like me who ALWAYS forget something. The pool, while small, was lovely and fenced for privacy. My favorite part of the entire house were the two hammocks you could hook up on the second level balcony-I spent every evening after the beach relaxing and reading in them 🙂 The only thing I would suggest for a five star experience would have been more water pressure-I really struggled to rinse my hair out/get sand off myself in the master shower. Overall, a great place in a nice little neighborhood…the beach was perfection in this area and fairly newly refurbished. I would def stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful week!
