Key West Cottage- a new custom coastal designed home now available for vacation rental! This home offers 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms with your own private tropical heated pool and is loaded with upgrades and extras. These include extensive wood work like tongue & groove pine wood ceilings and walls, large base board and crown moldings through-out and recessed lighting in all common areas.  Key West Cottage's sister home, a beautiful 3 bedroom named Key Largo Cottage sits right next door and these two together make for a perfect multi-family vacation combination of close proximity and individual privacy.

Key West Cottage features 10’ ceilings and 8’ solid, bead-board style doors.  The kitchen is designed with custom solid wood cabinetry, under cabinet lighting, granite, stainless steel Bosch appliances and a large bar area for eating or entertaining.  All 3 bathrooms feature custom solid wood vanities, granite counter-tops, over-sized porcelain tile with upgraded subway tile from floor to ceiling in the bathing areas, and finished with tongue & groove pine wood ceilings.  Frameless glass shower enclosures are included in 2 of the bathrooms and the 3rd bathroom includes a porcelain tub. All cabinets and doors are adorned with brushed nickel clear crystal knobs and a creative collection of knobs in all bathrooms.  The Master bedroom has a King bed, the 2nd has two twin beds and the 3rd and 4th each have queen beds. Each bedroom also has custom tongue & groove wood detail and a new flat screen TV. The living area of this cottage is wider than most coastal cottages and features a vaulted ceiling which nicely compliments the 10’ ceilings throughout the house.  With upgraded hand scraped hickory hardwood floors in the living area and 2 sets of 8’ sliding glass doors overlooking the tropical pool, this open spacious floor plan works great for family gatherings and entertaining while on your vacation.

 

From the front porch, the front balcony or the rear balcony you can overlook the professionally landscaped yard which has been professionally designed with native species.  This lush tropical yard hosts majestic Royal Palms as tall as the house, Gumbo Limbo trees in the front yard, double Pigmy palms and mature Arecas plants surrounding the back and side yard.  The tropical landscape offers privacy when relaxing by the pool and also when using the outdoor heated shower.

The home is right next to one of the stops for the free island trolley, giving you lots of flexibility to explore all the wonderful sights this island has to offer.  And with a very easy stroll to the world famous Anna Maria Island beaches, Key West Cottage is an outstanding property for that special Island getaway you have been dreaming about!

 

Living Area

This cozy living area looks right of the back of the property over the pool and lush tropical landscaping.  There is a sleeper sofa, chairs and a new HD flat screen TV.  The couch pulls out to a sleeper sofa.

The island decor and vaulted ceiling makes this space a perfect place to relax from your long day at the beach!

 

Kitchen

Nothing but the best here- granite tops, stainless steel appliances and stocked with everything you will need for your vacation getaway.

Bedrooms

The Master bedroom has a King bed.

Bedroom 2 has two twin beds.

Bedroom 3 has a queen bed.

Bedroom 4 has a queen bed.

All bedrooms have flat screen-HD TV's.

The living room couch also pulls out to a sleeper sofa.

Bathrooms

All 3 bathrooms are full sized, including walk in glass showers, superior quality fixtures and tastefully decorated with that Key West Island feel.

Outside

The grounds include lush tropical landscaping surrounding the heated pool.  Plenty of chairs for lounging and relaxing make this a perfect spot.  It is only a short stroll to the beach and is located right next to a trolley stop for your convenience to explore the island.

The house is beautiful, rooms are spacious, comfortable beds and a great living area! We found the house to be fully equipped with everything you need. We especially enjoyed grilling poolside! The location was great, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping! Fun to rent bikes and tour the island or ride the free shuttle. Highly recommend Tortilla Bay for lunch and Sand Dollar store for souvenirs, just a short walk from the house!
Great vacation, look forward to coming back!
