Living Area

Throw open the French doors leading out to the tropical lagoon pool and outside space and relax in the comfort of the open-plan living area with a good book, watch cable on the 37 inch flat-screen TV or just lie back and enjoy the peace. Inside Sunrise Cottage you will feel so at home thanks to some exquisite touches and a tremendous feeling of space created by high ceilings and large picture windows allowing the warm sunshine to stream in.

With all new Thomasville furniture including sleeper sofa and two reclining lounge chairs you have plenty of options as to the precise location for the serious business of letting your cares drift away, carried off by the silent ceiling fan in the center of the room.

Enjoy your meals at the beautiful wooden dining table, which expands to over 100 inches long for those big family get-togethers on its eight chairs. Leading off from the main living area is a fully-equipped laundry room, including full-sized LG front loading washer and dryer.

Kitchen

The fully refurbished and professionally redesigned kitchen is a joy to cook in. With three large, eight-foot tall pantries and eye- and floor-level cabinets giving all the storage space you could need and luxury granite counter tops you have plenty of room in which to make your masterpieces.

With all stainless steel appliances and Farberware pots, pans and cooking utensils the owners have spared no expense in equipping this kitchen as you would your own. For breakfast you can make use of a toaster and coffee maker, while there is also an iron and ironing board for those times when you simply have to use them.

Bedrooms

All three bedrooms in this property have en suite bathrooms leading off them, giving all guests privacy, and all are finished with top-quality fixtures and fittings. Bedrooms two and three have Jack and Jill bathrooms, which can be closed off to be private for each room, or left so guests sleeping on the sofa bed in the living area can have access to one or both of them without disturbing those in the bedrooms.

The master bedroom features a king-sized sleigh bed, perfect for those long, unspolit nights of sleep you will have on Anna Maria Island and for the odd afternoon nap when the sun outside works its magic on you. Inside the room there is also a 22in flat-screen TV, gentleman's dresser and nine-drawer dresser, both marble topped, and taken from Thomasville's Ernest Hemingway collection. You might not be in the Keys, but you will sure feel like it. Just lay your head back and relax on the luxurious pillow topped mattress, while the silent ceiling fan cools you down and the sound of the sea drifts in through the large sliding glass doors out on to your private patio area. The master's private bathroom features a 45-inch granite vanity and the same 10ft high ceilings, with a walk-in shower, WC and travertine tiling on the floors.

Bedroom two features a beautiful queen-sized hand carved Polynesian bed, again covered in a sumptuous pillow-topped mattress. There are pretty nightstands and a dresser for storage in an eight-foot long, walk-in closet as well, and a 19in flat-screen TV. Through the four windows, which offer the opportunity to let the gentle Florida breeze cool you down, are views of your secluded tropical garden and pool. The private bathroom features a 60-inch granite vanity with mirror and a walk-in shower with marble walls.

Bedroom three has twin beds, both with pillow topped mattresses, more delightful and thoughtfully chosen furniture, along with an eight-foot walk-in closet, ceiling fan, 19in flat-screen TV and private bathroom with granite-topped vanity and separate shower, again luxuriously finished with marble walls and floor.

Bathrooms

Bathroom one, in the master bedroom, features 45-inch granite vanity and the same 10ft high ceilings, with a walk-in shower, WC and mosaic tiling on the floors.

Bathrooms two and three both feature a 60-inch granite vanity with mirror and a walk-in shower with marble walls and floors. Both are en suite for their respective bedrooms but the doors can also be locked in such a sequence that other guests can use the bathrooms without going through each respective bedroom.

All three bathrooms are equipped with luxury, freshly-laundered towels and will be spotlessly clean on your arrival.

Outside

You will be spending a lot of your time outdoors at Sunrise Cottage. With its lush tropical gardens and large, lagoon-like pool it offers you the perfect place to relax, let the kids play in safety and enjoy the peace and quiet of this excellent location. The brand new pool features two deck jets which arc water high in the air and three bubble jets which rise up from the large shallow sun deck section of the pool, a wonderful spot for children to play. And they do love the bubbles!

Relax and enjoy your glorious seclusion on one of the four lounge chairs by the pool. There is even an outside enclosed shower with hot and cold water when you just don't want to miss a second of sunshine.

There is also ample room on the paved deck area for outdoor dining and entertaining. With a three-burner gas grill and side warmer and a large patio table with six chairs on which to enjoy the fruits of your labor. You can dine in comfort day or night outside as there are enough well-positioned lights in and around the garden and also in the pool.

Sunrise Cottage

Sunrise Cottage is a very good value. It is well equipped and just a few minutes' walk to the beach. We had everything we needed and were also very close to restaurants, the supermarket, and other services/shopping. The only drawback with this villa is the proximity to a busy road, but we were able to overlook that as the pool area is very lush and feels quite private. I would encourage couples vacationing together or smaller families to consider this as an excellent option.
