Living Area

This spacious and inviting living area features comfortable, luxury furniture throughout. Whether you are relaxing with a good book, sitting back on one of the plush sofas to watch the large, flat screen TV to enjoy the game on cable or a movie, or simply resting a while to savour the gentle sea breezes caressing your senses, you will instantly feel at home in this welcoming space.

You can catch up with events online, or make your friends jealous by showing them where you are using the high-speed wi-fi internet connection. We do hope that you don't use it for work, however, as this is not what we think you should be doing in this haven of peace and tranquillity.

There is plenty of room for you to spread yourselves out around this large home as well, with a separate, private den and even an upper-level family room. Whether you want the kids to give you some rest, of you just want some time alone, you will find your spot here.

This brand-new, architect built home has been finished with all top-quality furnishings, from leather sofas, to the original artwork hanging on the walls, no expense has been spared in the pursuit of creating something really rather special. If it wasn't so beautiful outside, you might never want to leave.

Glass sliders lead from the lounge area to a large private balcony at the rear of the property, overlooking the tropical gardens below.

Kitchen

Cooking can still be fun on vacation, especially when you have a kitchen as splendid as the one in View of the Gulf. With all top quality electrical goods, from dishwasher, to a modern oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer and washer/dryer in the utility area, you have every available labor-saving device to let you get on with the task of creating something tasty.

The kitchen also benefits from plenty of workspace and storage in a wide assortment of eye- and floor-level cupboards and units in light oak. Attractive, hand-made lights and a chandelier hang from the ceiling to create just the right mood for entertaining.

The dining area seats up to 13 in comfort so you can all eat together and enjoy special moments as a family or group of friends. The glass table in the dining room has seating with seven leather chairs, while the granite counter which extends into the dining room has three chairs, and a second counter has seating for another three. From these three seating areas you can all dine together in perfect comfort.

With soft lighting and quality dining furniture, along with all the other items you would expect from a well-stocked kitchen cabinet, including cutlery, crockery and top-quality pots and pans, meal times will be an added joy. And if you have done all the cooking, you might even be able to escape the washing-up.

There are also two sets of washer/dryers located at the property for all your laundry needs.

Bedrooms

View of the Gulf has 7 spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms, including two master bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed, the other with a queen-sized bed, flat screen TVs, luxury ensuite bathrooms and their own private decks. Both master beds are finished with European down comforters for that perfect night's sleep.

All are equipped with beautiful island style furniture and plenty of storage space to make you feel right at home. The two masters have flat screen TVs as standard and some also have fabulous views over the gulf. Four of the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms.

Bedroom three also has a queen-sized bed, while four and five contain twin beds and bedroom six contains a full bed with a twin above it as a bunk bed. There is a bonus room with couch and TV.  The home sleeps 13 persons in beds and 15 total. 

Each bedroom is finished to exacting standards and made up with high quality, high thread count linens and high-quality soft furnishings. Each room has its own particular style and theme, ranging from chic, dark wood in master one, modern minimalism in master two, to colorful island tones in bedroom four and funky prints in bedroom six.

If you have come on vacation to relax, get ready for some of the deepest sleep you have ever had.

Bathrooms

This home benefits from four full-sized bathrooms and two additional 1/2 bathrooms. Each bathroom features opulent marble, spacious tubs and walk-in shower units, travertine tile work, spacious storage and plenty of quality linens.

The bathrooms also feature tile and bamboo floors, and have granite counters throughout. All bathrooms are supplied with freshly laundered towels and will be spotlessly clean upon your arrival.

Outside

Unlike some rental properties you might see, the owners of View of the Gulf have put just as much attention into creating the perfect space outside as they have inside. Step out on to one of the private balconies, climb the spiral staircase to the rooftop observation deck, or simply wander into the lush tropical gardens and you will instantly see why we think this place is so special.

For your enjoyment the owners have provided a whole host of beach accessories and bikes inside the spacious garage. There is also a full-sized ping pong table in the indoor games room, and even a 30ft backyard shuffleboard court. Additional parking for guests is available on the paved turnaround area. 

Being outside and enjoying the cool sea breezes and year-round sunshine is what Anna Maria Island is all about - and that is just what View of the Gulf is about also. With three levels of decking surrounding the property and extensive landscaped gardens, there is a wonderful feeling of calm wherever you sit.

The centrepiece of the tranquil setting is the 35ft tropical paradise pool which features a five-person spa, waterfall and swim-up table to share a drink and nibbles in between long spells of taking it easy in the relaxing waters of the electrically heated pool.

There is also a fabulous wet tiki bar nestled under a covered lanai for beach-style entertaining. In here you will find an outdoor TV and fridge underneath the tiki bar to help keep those mixers cold. Hang around in the hammock, cool yourself off under the outdoor shower and fire up the gas grill barbecue for some real island style cuisine.

You might even forget there is a world-renowned beach within a few steps. That beach is a mere few steps from the property, and is easy to spot from one of the observation decks. From the roof you can watch the sun go down in private if you care to - it really is incredibly romantic.  You will not find a better spot to vacation than View of the Gulf!

**Private homes with pools will not be heated unless requested by guest. Please contact AMV for details. Pool heaters in our private homes are locked for your safety and controls must not be tampered with as they are monitored by the pool company. 80° is the highest heat temperature setting. Pool temperatures will probably stay around 75° during the winter months. Please note if cold days occur, water temperatures will drop and may stay cooler longer. Pool heaters will not operate and will automatically shut down if outside temperatures get too cold. While we take every precaution to ensure that pools are heated as specified, weather conditions may affect the temperature of the pool. Nothing can be done about this issue. Outdoor spas are not hot tubs. The temperature of a spa is typically set at the same temperature as the pool. Guests should not expect hot tub like temperatures for pool spas.

In the event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, AMV will expedite repairs as quickly as possible. It may be necessary to close swimming pools for maintenance purposes. No refund or rent adjustment will be made for circumstances beyond our control, malfunctions or loss of use of equipment or amenities.

View of the Gulf

The view of the gulf is nice, particularly from the rooftop deck, but "The View of the Gulf" home was terrific for our active family. The best parts were the roominess and comfort, the ping pong, shuffleboard and pool/spa, the kitchen and the many places to sit and relax. Plenty of seating, linens and toys for the pool/beach. Any problems with TVs, grill or internet were quickly addressed by Dave.

WE absolutely loved this home. We have been staying at rental homes in the Carolinas for a long time now but everyone agreed this is one of the best houses we have gotten! Everyone loved the Ping-Pong table and the boy’s especially loved the shuffle board. There was always a lot to do considering the beach is right across the street! It was nice that there was a couple things to do in walking distance too!(if you’re a walker)Everyone agreed how comfortable the beds were! Also the seating arrangement is great, a lot of room to do whatever you want. Only problem we encountered was the pool, we felt that it wasn’t as clean as we would’ve liked it to be but that problem was addressed immediately and we were in the pool the next day! This is a Great Home and we’re considering coming back next year!

Overall, we loved the rental, clean, modern and spacious. We were very impressed with the layout, pool, bikes, water toys, etc. We enjoyed the quaintness of the island with lots of places within walking distance. Our only recommendation would be to have an extra refridgerator in the garage or lower level for extra food. We had two families renting together with lots of food & beverages and completely filled the kitchen & bar refridgerators. Also, the queen bed on the main level was a bit lopsided and the fitted sheets seemed to pull off the mattress easilly.

Excellent holiday rental, would highly recommend. We loved everything about the villa, ideal for 2 families to share. Dave sorted out any problems that arose, including the bed on the main level without any. Great location, pool fantastic!

Wonderful vacation rental, we had a great time. All rooms were just as they were pictured. Dave helped with problems that we experienced. The outside living and pool area were terrific. We would and have recommended this house to our friends.
