In certain parts of the world, the Mediterranean is a byword for family vacations in the sun, relaxing, and taking a break from the stresses and strains of modern life. On Anna Maria Island, the Mediterranean design of Villa Alexandria promises you exactly the same enjoyment.
This home is just the sort of place where relaxing will become second nature, and enjoying the company of family and friends is made so easy. An ideal place to stage a family reunion in glamorous surroundings, or simply to catch up with old acquaintances in a fabulous spacious home. Villa Alexandria is as versatile as it is gorgeous and instantly welcoming.
Located just a short walk to one of the nicest beach areas on Anna Maria, with its famous Café on the Beach (home of all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts) and a kids play area, it is perfectly placed.
In fact nothing is very far away from Villa Alexandria- it could not be much more centrally placed on the island. And yet it manages to keep itself tucked away out of sight, one of just a handful of other luxury properties situated in a quiet cul de sac.
The architect took great care to make the most of its position, with balconies and large windows looking out towards the shimmering waters of the Gulf of Mexico. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms you have plenty of sleeping options. And no need to fight over who has the best room – they are all fantastic.
From the two romantic king-sized master suites featuring their own private veranda balconies, to the additional queen room, four twin beds and even a separate queen-sized sleeper sofa, no one is going to be missing out on their beauty sleep. There is also an elevator to all floors to help with your luggage - or if you just cannot face the stairs after another hectic day at the beach.
Which is a good thing, you will be needing all the energy you can muster – there is some serious relaxing to be done. Outside is a large private heated pool and tranquil waterfall surrounded by gently swaying palms and other tropical plants offering shade and privacy. There is also an outdoor BBQ grill with a covered sitting area and a large patio table for the whole family to gather around while you enjoy the chef’s creations.
You can burn off (some) calories in the adjacent game room, with ping pong table and darts, and if you have little ones, there is a gated play area separate from the pool area for safety, which includes a swing set and slide.
And you can survey the whole scene from a discrete distance on the private deck situated just off the living room, or you could simply use the tranquil space to enjoy a good book and perhaps a sunset cocktail or two.
Throughout the house you will find plasma TVs, all with cable, and you can also keep in touch with friends and family thanks to the high-speed wireless internet..
Just don't get too comfortable up there – you are on vacation after all. And it is sure to be one to remember at Villa Alexandria
