Living Area

The living area is open plan with its comfortable sofas, a grandfather clock and antique style pine furniture. Sit back and enjoy cable TV/DVD or listen to your favorite CDs. Glass sliders lead out on to a large balcony with patio dining table and chairs for informal dining in the open air. Telephone/fax and DSL high speed internet access on the desk will keep you in touch with friends, family and business.

A few stairs lead down to the dining area in the tower; the triple aspect windows overlooking the garden and palm trees make a great spot for eating in. The decor in this room includes chandelier type lighting over the dining table, solid ponderosa pine furniture and large china cabinet.

A hand crafted oak staircase leads up to the next floor.

Kitchen

The kitchen solid maple wood kitchen comes fully equipped with range, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The cabinets contain pots, pans, dishes, silverware and small appliances. So, if after a busy day at the beach or around the pool contemplating whether to sample one of the many excellent local restaurants, use the barbecue grill to cook out by the swimming pool or to eat in the tower dining room, you decide to eat at the villa you can prepare anything from a light snack to a full-scale dinner.

Pop down to Publix for some great steaks or the nearby Cortez fishing village for fresh seafood, salads, fresh vegetables, a really excellent delicatessen and the best bakery in Florida. Try their white mountain bread and fresh baked croissants.

Bedrooms

The Master Bedroom Suite 1 has a huge king-sized antique style pine bed, private bathroom and a large closet with a couple of twin pillow topped mattresses stored in case you have a couple of extra visitors. Glass sliders lead out on to a private balcony with loungers for relaxing quietly with an early morning coffee or escaping for a quiet read in the afternoon.

The Master Bedroom Suite 2 in the tower has a king size poster bed, large closet and private bathroom with a large oval whirlpool spa tub for two and shower.

Bedroom 3 has two twin beds and a private bathroom.

Bathrooms

All of the bathrooms have expensive bathroom fixtures from Heritage Bathrooms, imported from Europe. They are all based on original designs from the 1920s and fixtures include traditional style wash basins, roll top baths and bidets.

Master Bathroom 1 has a antique style roll top cast iron bath tub and Victorian style traditional shower fixture. There is a separate shower of tile and glass. The flooring in this bathroom is glazed Saltillo tile.

Master Bathroom 2 differs in that it has a large oval spa tub for two with custom trim and shower.

Bathrooms are all supplied with freshly laundered towels.

Outside

Drive through wrought iron gates & pillars topped with cast decorative lighting. The driveway, walkways and around the pool are all topped with Roman style brick pavers and the landscaping is full of palms, bougainvillea, hibiscus and oleanders. The pool company call twice a week to make sure the swimming pool and waterfall are kept in the best condition possible for guests.

Just three minutes' walk from your front gates lies the gorgeous stretch of seven miles of white sand beaches that string out along Anna Maria Island's west coast. There is a great little place here called Cafe on the Beach - they serve breakfast that you can eat with your toes in the sands - try their all you can eat pancakes with maple syrup and butter and a dish of fresh fruits or go for the "full Monty" of eggs, bacon and fries washed down with limitless cups of coffee. The trolley stops here so you can ride up and down the island free of charge and if you want to have your car close by for elderly relatives or very small children then there is parking under the pine trees.
