Living Area

Burnished Canadian maple wood flooring throughout the living area is easy care. From the large and comfortable sofas watch large flat screen cable TV, see movies on DVD & listen to your favorite music on the stereo.

The temperature on all floors is controlled by a dual air conditioning system, allowing you to adjust the temperature in the upper and middle sections of the house to your own comfort level. Keep in touch with family, friends and business with Hi-Speed internet access.

Glass sliders lead out on to the balcony overlooking the garden and the swimming pool area. The balcony is a great spot for that early morning cup of coffee, just relaxing or enjoying an "al fresco" breakfast or lunch. It is also a perfect spot for enjoying a sunset cocktail.

The dining area has an antique style Ponderosa Pine china cabinet and long oval dining table and chairs for eight. Staircases from the living area are all custom made for Villa Sorrento from American oak.

Kitchen

Located in the tower, Villa Sorrento's kitchen has solid maple wood cabinetry, creamy ceramic tile floor, smooth granite counter tops and loads of storage space. The appliances include a ceramic top range, refrigerator/freezer, microwave and dishwasher.

A second dining table allows for an "eat-in" kitchen and is useful for serving breakfast or snacks. The cabinets are fully equipped with dishes, pots, pans, silverware and small appliances so you can prepare anything from a light meal to a full evening dinner party. Bringing the groceries is easy, just use the elevator.

The separate laundry room has a high capacity washer and dryer, iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms

Master suite 1 has king size bed, TV, phone and en-suite private bathroom.

Master suite 2 has king size bed, TV, phone and en-suite private bathroom.

Bedroom 3 has queen size bed, TV, phone and own bathroom.

Bedroom 4 has comfortable twin beds and its own shower room.

All of the beds have thick, comfortable mattresses and excellent quality linens.

Bathrooms

Master Bathroom 1 has a Victorian style cast iron roll top tub and separate shower.

Master Bathroom 2 has large oval jacuzzi style spa tub and separate shower.

Bathroom 3 and Bathroom 4 have showers.

Bathrooms are all supplied with freshly laundered towels.

Outside

Drive through wrought iron gates & pillars topped with cast decorative lighting. The driveway, walkways and around the pool are all topped with Roman style brick pavers and the landscaping is lush and full of flowering tropical plants including bougainvillea, hibiscus and oleanders.

Palms sway in gentle breezes while you relax by the pool. The pool has a waterfall and it is electrically heated so you can swim year round. The island's pool company visits twice a week to ensure that the heated pool is kept in the best possible condition for guests.

Just one minute's walk from your front gates lies the gorgeous stretch of seven miles of white sand beaches that string out along Anna Maria Island's west coast.

There is a great little restaurant on the edge of the sands called Cafe on the Beach - they serve breakfast that you can eat with your feet in the sands - try their all you can eat pancakes with maple syrup and butter and a dish of fresh fruits or go for scrambled eggs, bacon and fries washed down with limitless cups of coffee. The trolley stops there so you can ride up and down the island free of charge.

The island's best grocery store is just a couple of minutes' drive away and it sells terrific steaks and seafood, has a great delicatessen and the bakery is a must, try their White Mountain bread - it is delicious. Also nearby are small shops, a pharmacy, doctor and dentist.
