Living Area

Relax in the light and glamorous open plan living area with stylish supremely comfortable eight-way hand tied regency style sofas. Wide French windows open out on to the balcony edged with decorative wrought iron balustrades and affording panoramic views over the water.

Listen to a favorite CD on the stereo, watch cable TV or a DVD movie on the large screen TV. Keep in touch with family, friends or business with DSL Hi-Speed Internet access.

Eat at the breakfast bar or in the dining area under the beautiful hand-crafted wrought iron chandelier specifically commissioned in Sarasota by a local artisan. Enjoy al fresco dining out on the deck overlooking the garden, pool and the Bay. An alternative access to the pool area is provided via a spiral staircase leading down from the balcony. Also on this floor is Bedroom 4 with its own private bathroom and a further bathroom that is a half bath.

Take the oak staircase or the elevator to the upper floor.

Kitchen

Appliances in the kitchen include a ceramic hob style range with broiler, fan assisted oven, built in microwave-extractor, dishwasher and large side-by-side refrigerator with icemaker and ice water dispenser. Cabinets are fully equipped with pots, pans, dishes and cutlery. The breakfast bar is useful for light snacks and meals.

There is a separate laundry/utility room with large capacity washer/dryer, iron & ironing board.

Bedrooms

The upper hall accesses the master bedroom, and bedrooms two and three. Bedroom four and its own private bathroom is on the next floor down.

Enjoy the glamorous master bedroom suite with large oval honey colored marble Jacuzzi spa bathtub for two, a huge antique style king-size bed, private bathroom, walk-in closet and balcony overlooking the water.

Bedroom two has a queen size bed, floor to ceiling mirrored door closets along one wall and French doors opening out on to a waterfront balcony.

Bedroom three has two twin beds, closet and its own private balcony overlooking the island with its waving palms. It faces west so enjoys the spectacular sunsets for which Florida is so famous.

Bedroom four has a twin bed, a second twin trundle bed and its own private shower bathroom.

Bathrooms

As well as the oval marble spa tub, the Master suite has its own private bathroom with large shower and vanity.

Bathroom two has white classic fixtures and a shower.

Bedroom four has the benefit of a private bathroom, including a half bath.

Bathrooms are all supplied with freshly laundered towels.

Outside

Drive in through the trees and the large wrought iron gates to the paved courtyard at the front of the house. All around the courtyard are flowering hibiscus, palms, ficus trees and other tropical plants.

From the house, large sliders lead out to the garden and pool area. The open air electrically heated pool overlooks the waters of Anna Maria sound. Surrounding the pool is a brick paved sunbathing area and a pergola entwined with flowering jasmine and bougainvillea that provides a shady area to relax and enjoy a cocktail or catch up on a little light vacation reading. It is also a great location for watching herons, egrets and pelicans in their natural environment.

If boating interests you then Villa Rosa has its own private boat dock. Boat rentals are available at The Bradenton Beach Marina or at several other local marinas - having your own dock allows you the pleasure of a boat right outside your door for a few days or for the entire duration of your stay. The dock extends 100ft out into the bay and is also great for fishing and dolphin watching. Taking a chair out to the end of dock might well be rewarded by watching families of dolphins frolicking in the Bay. It is also a great place for fishing and watching the world sail by.
