Living Area

Relaxation is assured in the light, bright an airy open plan living area with its plush; deep comfortable sofas strewn with scatter pillows. Antique style pine furnishings, glossy easy care maple wood floors, custom trim around the windows and three-piece crown complement the Mediterranean based design. 

Sit back and enjoy cable TV/DVD or listen to your favorite CDs. Glass sliders lead out on to a large balcony with the delicate aroma of two pretty flowering plants, plus a patio dining table and chairs for informal dining in the open air. Plan a sunset supper for the ultimate dining experience.

Step down into the dining area and relax over a long lazy dinner seated at the antique finish table.  The decor has interesting accents including a grandfather clock and a traditional style china cabinet.

Keep in touch with friends, family or business by phone or Hi-Speed DSL internet access. A hand-crafted oak staircase leads up to the next floor.

Kitchen

If you are not eating in one of the island's many great restaurants, then you have several choices, dine out on the balcony, cook out down by the pool and picnic in the garden or eat in the step down dining room.

Pop down to Publix for some great steaks, salads, fresh vegetables and the best bakery in Florida. Or if you don't mind a short drive you can visit Cortez Village where there is a great funky outdoor bar/restaurant where they serve fresh seafood meals at a reasonable price. Also at the fish market across from the restaurant you can purchase fresh seafood, bring it home and prepare it in our kitchen which is fully equipped in a manner to afford entertaining.

The kitchen has maple wood cabinetry, creamy Corian countertops and a full range of appliances including dishwasher, range, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Cabinets contain dishes, pots, pans, silverware and small appliances, and an Italian Palvoni Expresso machine.

The washer, dryer, iron and ironing board are housed in a separate laundry room.

Bedrooms

All of the bedrooms have TV, thick, comfortable pillow top mattresses and good quality linens. The first master bedroom suite has a huge king size antique style pine bed, private bathroom and a large closet with a couple of twin pillow topped mattresses stored in case you have a couple of extra visitors.

Glass sliders lead out on to a vine-covered private balcony with loungers for relaxing quietly with an early morning coffee or escaping for a quiet read in the afternoon.

The romantic second master bedroom suite in the tower has a king size poster bed, large closet and private bathroom with a large oval whirlpool spa tub for two and shower.

Bedroom 3 has two twin beds and a private bathroom.

From the upper hallway, an exterior door leads up to the rooftop tower terrace with 360 degree panoramic views of Anna Maria Island. It is perfect to watch the stunning sunsets and sunrises or to enjoy a quiet read.

Bathrooms

All of the bathrooms have exclusive and expensive bathroom fixtures from Heritage Bathrooms, imported from Europe. They are all based on original designs from the 1920s and fixtures include traditional style wash basins, roll top baths and bidets.

Master bathroom one has a beautiful antique style roll top cast iron bath tub & Victorian style traditional shower fixture. There is a separate shower of tile & glass. The flooring in this bathroom is glazed Saltillo tile.

Master bathroom two differs in that it has a large elegant oval spa tub for two with custom trim & shower. Bathroom 3 has a shower.

Bathrooms are all supplied with freshly laundered towels.

Outside

Drive through wrought iron gates and pillars topped with cast decorative lighting. The driveway, walkways and around the pool are all topped with Roman style brick pavers and the landscaping is lush and full of flowering tropical plants including bougainvillea, hibiscus, oleanders. Tall palms sway in gentle breezes while you relax by the pool.

The swimming pool is solar & electrically heated so you can take a swim year round. The pool and the gardens are maintained continually on a weekly basis.

Just three minutes' walk from your front gates lies the gorgeous stretch of seven miles of white sand beaches that string out along Anna Maria Island's west coast. There is a great little place here called Cafe on the Beach - they serve breakfast that you can eat with your feet in the sands - try their all you can eat pancakes with maple syrup and butter and a dish of fresh fruits or go a fluffy omelet and fries washed down with limitless cups of coffee.

The trolley stops here so you can ride up and down the island free of charge and if you do want to have your car close by for elderly relatives or very small children then there is parking under the pine trees.
