St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Location: 6600 Gulf Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217
Beach Bistro is known for hosting a parade every year that travels through the streets of Anna Maria Island, kicking off St. Patrick’s Day for the whole island.
It starts at Eat Here (5315 Gulf Ave) and heads north to Holmes Beach, ending at 85th Street. There are Irish step dancers, local high school bands, bagpipers and more.
Great for all ages, the parade kicks off at 4 p.m. You’ll be sure to see lots of fun floats and tons of green. The parade is free.
Duffy’s Tavern
Location: 5808 Marina Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217
Keep the party going following the parade with a stop into Duffy’s Tavern. Known for the best burgers and beers in town, this spot has been popular since it opened in 1958. Here you’ll find delightful local food and more than 20 beers to choose from. Many say this is the only spot in the area that’s fit for such a celebration.
The Ugly Grouper
Location: 5704 Marina Dr, Holmes Beach, FL 34217
Another excellent and colorful spot to celebrate the holiday is the Ugly Grouper. With top-notch food, and a fun and friendly atmosphere, many love to celebrate like the Irish by taking the party here. You can get a traditional corned beef and cabbage meal and really get into the holiday spirit. Live music at this venue will keep the party rocking well into the night.
St. Patrick’s Day Concert at Roser Church
Location: 512 Pine Ave, Anna Maria, FL 34216
This is a good option if you’re looking for a spirited place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day while vacationing in an Anna Maria Island rental. Roser Memorial Community Church is known for holding a concert with traditional music for St. Patrick’s Day. The event starts at 4 p.m. but get there early when doors open at 3 p.m. You’ll be able to enjoy Celtic instruments, bagpipes, folklore and more.
Clancy’s Irish Sports Pub

Another awesome Irish spot near your vacation rental, Clancy’s goes all out for this green-themed holiday. Even though the celebration of the Irish happens here every day out of the year, things definitely get ramped up on St. Patrick’s Day. Have some drinks, and listen to great sets of authentic Irish live music throughout the afternoon and evening. Don’t miss out on the Irish step dancer performance.
