Catch a Tampa Bay Ray’s Game During your Anna Maria Island visit!

Baseball season is finally upon us and with the Tropicana Field, home of the Tampa Bay Rays, just a short 45 minute drive north of the Anna Maria Island beaches—it is a great activity to add to your vacation checklist. Catch a Ray’s home game during your visit and enjoy a fun filled night at the ball park.

The Tropicana Field is the only professional sports facility in the world that offers a 10,000 gallon touch tank open to the public—not to mention it is the 10th largest in the US. Located just behind the right center field wall this one of a kind amenity allows visitors get to feed and touch over 30 cownose rays throughout the duration of the game thanks to a special partnership with the Florida Aquarium. Now you don’t get to experience that every day!

Not to mention the Ray’s Concert Summer Series that includes free concerts that take place on the field after the game! Last year’s lineup included The Jacksons, Cody Simpson, Lee Brice, Kacey Musgraves, DJ Steve Aoki and many more.

No matter whether you are a die-hard Ray’s fan or if your favorite home team is playing that week—you won’t want to miss an incredible evening at the Tropicana Field. Oh and don’t forget to snap a picture with Raymond the mascot as a souvenir to commemorate your great vacation!
