My grandfather was the original/owner of southern breeze apts. My husband and I hadn’t been back since it was sold. Renovations were nice and the pool was a nice addition. You just can’t beat the location, just a short walk to bean point and the rod and reel pier. Our place was clean and we had everything we needed….coffee maker, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, iron, etc. The pool could’ve been a little cleaner. Would like the owner to know that on Monday, I was there when the pool guy showed up and he didn’t get out of the truck. My husband then got all of the toys out of the pool and skimmed it out. Lots of sand on bottom the whole time we were there which was no big deal. I thought having renters next door would be noisy but we didn’t hear them the whole week. The reason I’m giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because dealing with the living room tv was maddening. Took 30 mins to come on each time “reprogramming” Also, we had on a hairdryer and iron at the same time and blew a fuse. Would like to let other renters know the fuse box is outside of apt#4. I know this rental is advertised as sleeping 6 people, but there’s no way that would be comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are extremely small but I wouldn’t want to stay there with any more than 2 adults and 2 children. We would rent southern breeze apts again.
