We had such a great stay at Island Sunrise. When we arrived, the soothing salty smell in the air helped us unwind after a flight out of cold New England. The pool is private and peaceful, the screened porch area is a great spot for relaxing and napping. We love the top floor bedroom, ultra cozy. The thoughtfully arranged decor made us feel right at home. It was so nice to have a garage and we also appreciated the ping pong table on the ground floor, who knew how much fun that could be?! We swam, we grilled, we slept, we rocked on the porch rockers. It was so relaxing and restorative to have “our” own home to come back to after mountain biking. Watching the sun rise each morning in the backyard was pure heaven. We also ran across the street one night to see it set over the water on our last evening at the beach.
We hope to come back again, and look forward to our next stay in this cool space on the island!
