Bedrooms & Bathrooms
** If you would like to have your pool heated, we kindly ask that you please contact AMV at least 10 days prior to your arrival so that it ensures us ample time to fulfill your request. We do offer pool heat as needed as a courtesy to our guests at no additional charge. All of our pools and pool equipment are closely monitored by the pool company for your safety, we kindly ask that the controls not be tampered with- most of the systems are locked for this reason. Due to the island's strict 10pm noise ordinance, the pool heaters will not run overnight. Please remember, outdoor spas are not hot tubs (some properties have a spa, some have a hot tub). Generally speaking, our winter months are considered from November through April. During these months we do our best to ensure that the pools are heated to a temperature of 82 degrees. However, please be aware that even in Central Florida we do occasionally get cold spells that can send the temperatures down into the 30's for a few nights in a row. This will cause the pool water temperature to draw down to in the 70's and a pool pump will automatically shut down if the outside temperature gets too cold. The pump will then kick back on in the morning and begin re-heating of the pool back to 82, which may take several days depending on the severity of the cold spell. Ultimately, these situations are beyond our control. Other issues such as severe weather conditions, equipment malfunction, temporary loss of use of equipment or amenities due to maintenance purposes or other items do happen for time to time. Please be aware that AMV cannot issue refunds during your stay based on acts of God. However, please know that in the rare event of pool equipment malfunction during your stay, AMV will do everything in our power to expedite repairs as quickly as possible as we certainly want you to enjoy your heated pool and Florida sunshine to the fullest extent possible! My family has rented this home for our vacation the last two years. We just returned from our second trip and this home is absolutely perfect for us! Thanks to the extra space we have been able to allow grandparents and aunts to join us with our kids on these trips. The home is large and has plenty of “personal space” so that everyone is not on top of each other. The beds are comfy and the premium linen service is a blessing for a beach trip. The home is stocked with everything you could think of from beach toys to extra batteries. The pool is a very nice size and covers both shallow and deep areas to appeal to everyone. It is a very short walk down to the beach and about the same distance in the opposite direction gets you to a Marina and some restaurants. You must try the Ugly Grouper while you stay here – very short walk and great food. The management company was great and responded immediately to fix even the most minor of issues. They followed up throughout the week with us to make sure our stay was good. We hope to enjoy many more family vacations at this home in the future!

I would not recommend this rental company or this property. The house is nice and we were happy with the service that we received prior to check in but as soon as we got there everything went down hill. The house ran out of propane the 2nd day we were there. When I called, I was told that was impossible because that house didn’t use propane. We had no hot water the whole day and the pool was heated with propane so that stopped working. Finally, they listened to us and realized the house did use propane. We did get the delivery later that afternoon. However, the pool was not heated for the rest of our stay and the heater said it needed to be serviced, but maintenance did not fix it. The shower in one of the bedrooms is so unbearably loud that you get a headache while using it and the water doesn’t drain from the shower. They sent maintenance who pulled hair out of the drain, showed it to us and claimed that was why, but it still continued to fill with water for the rest of our stay. Our refrigerator/freezer stopped working and we had to use to small refrigerator in the extra kitchen. When we told maintenance how unhappy we were with how much money we had spent and all the problems we were having they said “well, it could be worse, it could be snowing”. Like we should deal with getting a run down rental because the weather was nice. I could have stayed somewhere for half the price and had better conditions. That being said the island is beautiful and we will be returning, just renting through a different company.
