Yes. Publix Super Market in Holmes Beach is fully stocked with fresh produce, seafood, meats, and pantry essentials.
Can we park at the beach?
Yes. Several public beach access points offer parking, including Coquina Beach and Manatee Public Beach.
Is there public transportation on the island?
Yes. The free Anna Maria Island Trolley runs daily with stops near most rentals. The MCAT bus connects to Bradenton, and the Monkey Bus offers rides for tips.
How do we get onto the island?
Two bridges connect Anna Maria Island to the mainland: the Cortez Bridge (Bradenton Beach) and the Manatee Avenue Bridge (Holmes Beach).
Are Bradenton Beach and Holmes Beach part of Anna Maria Island?
Yes. The island is made up of three cities: Bradenton Beach (south), Holmes Beach (central), and the City of Anna Maria (north).

Should we rent a car?
If you plan to explore beyond the island, yes. Otherwise, walking, biking, and the trolley make it easy to get around.
Where is the nearest medical facility?
Blake Hospital in Bradenton (15 min). There’s also a nearby walk-in clinic for minor needs.
Are there shops and restaurants on the island?
Yes. You’ll find everything from beach boutiques and art galleries to casual cafes and fine dining. Family-friendly options are everywhere.
Are children welcome in restaurants?
Absolutely. The island has a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
How far are the vacation homes from the beach?
Almost all of our rentals are within a 5-minute walk to the sand.
Do you provide beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels?
We guarantee beach towels at homes in our Pro Linen program. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented through local companies such as Fun and More Rentals.

Do you provide linens and towels?
Yes. All homes have freshly made beds and clean bath towels.
Do we have to clean before we leave?
No. Just leave the home in reasonable condition and follow checkout instructions.

Baby gear such as highchairs and cribs can be rented locally through ABC Baby Rentals.
How big are the pools?
Most are medium-sized residential pools (average 30 feet).
Can we fish or swim off the dock?
Yes, at properties with private docks.
Do homes have Wi-Fi?
Yes. All rentals offer complimentary wireless internet.
Are kitchens fully equipped?
Yes. Kitchens include cookware, dishes, and appliances. We provide a small starter kit with paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dish soap, and trash bags. For safety, we do not provide pantry items or condiments.
Do homes have laundry facilities?
Yes. Most have in-home washers and dryers.
Do homes have a barbecue grill?
Most do. Check the amenities list or call to confirm.
Can I bring a pet?
Some homes allow dogs with approval and a pet fee. Breed, weight, and behavior restrictions apply. No cats allowed.
When are pools heated?
Pools are heated from November through April, weather permitting.
Can I send mail or packages to my rental?
We do not recommend it. Instead, use Island Mail & Print (941-778-1991) for secure package receiving.
Can we bring a boat?
Yes, if your rental has a dock. Otherwise, use one of the island’s public boat ramps.
What is there to do on Anna Maria Island?
Enjoy swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, golf, parasailing, tennis, biking, and sunset cruises. You can also explore nearby attractions like Sarasota Jungle Gardens, Myakka River State Park, and Busch Gardens.
Are there golf courses nearby?
Yes. Many courses are just across the bridge in Bradenton and Sarasota.
Do you allow pets?
Certain homes allow dogs with prior approval, a pet fee, and adherence to our pet rules (no pets on furniture, clean up after them, no pool access).
