Veteran’s Day Parade and Ceremony
Location: The Parade starts at City Hall and ends at the City Pier Park
Date: November 11 @ 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Join The City of Anna Maria for this special and patriotic community ceremony honoring all those who have served in our armed services over the years. City Hall is located at 10005 Gulf Drive. City Pier Park is located at 101 North Bay Boulevard
If you cannot join the parade, please join us for 45-minute patriotic music, veterans/spouse recognition ceremony, and flyover in the City Pier Park following the parade starting at 1:30
Bradenton Beach Lighting of the Tree
Location: 5313 Gulf Drive, Holmes Beach
Date: December 3rd, from 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Enjoy Christmas music from the CrossPointe Fellowship Band and Singers, Santa and his sleigh, and holiday cookies and coffee. The tree lighting will take place at 6 pm. Stroll the surrounding Holmes Beach area to visit the local businesses and get a jump on your holiday shopping.
AMI Historical Society’s Holiday Walk of Treasures open house
Location: 402 Pine Ave Anna Maria, Fl
Date: December 10th, starting at 10:00 am
A festive community holiday event, the museum will stay open until 8:00 pm and will join in on the Pine Avenue Holiday festivities.
Holmes Beach Art District Art Walk
Location: Holmes Beach Art District, Holmes Beach, FL
Date: The second Friday of each month from January 12 to April 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m
Creativity lines the streets of Holmes Beach once a month this winter with Anna Maria Island’s annual ArtWalks. Participating businesses around the Gulf Drive and Holmes Boulevard area, known as the Holmes Beach Art District, will feature local art from the island and surrounding area on the second Friday of each month from January 12 to April 13 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Check out everything from acrylic and mixed-media representations of the sea, local pottery and glass, and stunning landscape and wildlife photography from a number of local gulf coast artists.
Enjoy complimentary refreshments and music as you browse the local works of art in downtown Holmes Beach.
Bradenton Area River Regatta
Location: Green Bridge, Palmetto, FL
Date: On February 12, 2022
For a day of sport, water, food, and fun, head to the annual Regatta on the Manatee River. Boats will take to the water and spectators can watch the excitement from the Bradenton and Palmetto riverbeds and the Green Bridge.
