Here you’ll find some of the best locally sourced Anna Maria Island seafood and American dishes in a festive atmosphere along with a wide selection of homemade pizzas.

The menu has just about everything you could want when it comes to traditional American entrees and pub grub, along with a full bar and plenty of relaxing outdoor seating.

The Freckled Fin was started by Eileen and Scott Lubore in 2015, transplants from Maryland who sold their furniture business to enjoy the warm weather of Anna Maria Island and with a passion for producing amazing food.

They partnered with a few local culinary experts and The Freckled Fin has been a big hit since its launch just a few years ago.

You’ll find what you’re craving on the menu

The menu is sure to have whatever you’re in the mood for. Seafood starters include coconut and peel and eat shrimp, calamari, conch fritters, bacon wrapped scallops, crab cakes, grouper sliders and other mouthwatering items.

The American appetizer options include mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, coleslaw, chicken quesadilla, fries, fried pickles, burger or chicken sliders, and many other choices. You’ll find a mix of low and moderately priced options so that you can mix and match for your preferred starter meal.

Just a few of the many enticing entrée options include grouper sandwiches, shrimp burgers, BLTs, steak or chicken and cheese sandwiches, Caesar or blackened chicken wraps, and seafood tacos. 12 different burger options await including a surf & turf with a shrimp patty and beef, southwest style burger, or mushroom and swiss.

And if you happen to be craving some delicious fresh pizza, you’ll also have plenty to choose from here. You’ll find their thin crust to be on par with some of the best pizza eateries on Anna Maria Island. Choose one of the 12 specialty pizzas and add wings to your order for a reasonable price.

A selection of dinner baskets available after 5 p.m. round out the menu. Suffice to say, with so many choices you’ll find exactly what you want on the menu here!

This conveniently located eatery is also one of the best music venues on the island, featuring an impressive selection of daily rotating local musicians in several genres. The website offers information on who is playing on any given day.

The live music has at The Freckled Fin has a heavy focus on acoustic, but you’ll get to listen to other genres as well including reggae, soul music, rock, instrumental and more.

Featuring both traveling and local musicians, this restaurant is run by true music enthusiasts who showcase some of Bradenton’s best and most talented artists.
