Finally, you can join in on the Canals and Cottages Tour. This option takes you through Holmes Beach to explore the cute cottages and stunning views of the water on the Sound and the Gulf. Zegway by the Bay also offers two tours in Bradenton on the mainland. The first option is the Downtown Riverwalk Bradenton Florida Tour. On this excursion, you’ll be taken through the downtown area as well as the Riverwalk, which gives an unmatched view of the Manatee River. To see the area at night, you can embark on the Downtown Riverwalk Bradenton Florida Night Tour. You’ll get all the same attractions that are covered in the daytime tour, but you’ll have the added bonus of exploring the area at night! Bradenton will be all lit up for you to explore, giving a special, exciting vibe to your surroundings. This excursion, like the daytime version, lasts 1 hour and costs $50 per person.
Segs by the Sea
For even more fun Anna Maria Island Segway tours, Segs by the Sea is another great option. This company focuses their tours on Anna Maria Island and Bradenton Beach in particular. Every tour starts with a training session to get you comfortable, as well as a helmet. You’ll use the Longboat Key Bridge to make it there, and once you arrive, you’ll have beautiful views of the water, where you may even spot a dolphin or two! This tour lasts 1.5 hours and costs $59 per person.
Segs by the Sea holds your safety as their first priority. That’s why every rider undergoes a short training session before the tour begins. Your experienced guide will show you how to ride a Segway to make sure you feel confident before you take off. Even if you’ve never ridden a Segway before, they’ll show you the ropes! All riders will be given a helmet as well. Participants will be asked to sign a liability waiver before the tour begins. For safety reasons, Segs by the Sea does not permit riders under 12 years old, less than 79 pounds, more than 260 pounds, or those who are pregnant.
Unfortunately, parking at Segs by the Sea is limited, as there are only a few spots on the street. However, you’re able to hop on the Anna Maria Island trolley to get there for free! If you do need to drive, you can park your car at Coquina Beach and then use the Trolley to reach Segs by the Sea.
