My family just returned from a week long stay at Bermuda Bay. This was our 2nd time staying on AMI and my parents’ 3rd time. We had 6 adults, 2 children, and a 10 month old. We loved this rental! It was a PRIME location. We were just 2 blocks from a beautiful beach and 1/2 block from a small convenient store. Restaurants and shopping were within a few blocks. The house was very clean upon arrival. The bedrooms were spacious and had nice balconies. The pool was perfect! It was nice and warm. The hot tub was only 5 degrees warmer than the pool, unfortunately. We’ve found this to be typical in these rentals. The garage was stocked with a cooler, pool and sand toys, a large umbrella, 6 fabulous fold up beach chairs, and 6 adult bikes. There was a pool table and foosball table on the back patio, near the pool. Lots of balconies with very comfortable seating. A neat rooftop balcony.
The only downfalls — lukewarm hot tub, poorly stocked kitchen (we would have liked a few tupperware pieces to store things in the fridge, better knives, butter dish, dish cloths and towels, etc. Seemed to be a lot missing), fridge needed repairs (drawers falling apart and doors did not seal well), more beach towels, more clothes hangers (there were only a few in each closet!).
Other than those minor things, it was a great place to stay and we’d love to go back!
