This is a wonderful rental property that I highly recommend! The home is so spacious and welcoming – the high ceilings and multiple windows make it feel even larger than it is! Everything is included with this rental that you could possible want! The beautiful kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of dishes, glasses and pans. Our party of 7 were able to make delicious gourmet meals every night and even BBQ’ed a large red snapper on the grill by the pool.
The master bathroom is fabulous, as is the one in the upstairs hallway. The half bath is nice too, since it has a door that allows easy access from the heated pool and multiple decks. We also enjoyed the game room with ping pong! I can honestly say that the house exceeded expectations and was even nicer than it looked in the photos.
We all liked the location, too. The 72nd Street beach is only a few blocks away and the area is not congested at all. It is also great for walking and biking. I recommend renting bikes from Fun n More, as they delivered very nice beach bikes promptly. The house also has a boogie board, beach toys and a wagon for hauling the things to the beach.
The house is only a few blocks from town. You can ride a bike easily, or even walk if it’s not too hot. One piece of advice about town – if you are going to the Donut Experiment, be prepared for a long wait. These were undoubtedly the best donuts that I ever had (including VooDoo Donuts in Portland or Beiler’s in Philly) but you can wait an hour or so before your custom donuts are ready. Grab a coffee and relax while you wait. It is worth it!
As far as customer service is concerned, I must say that Anna Maria Vacations is the best! When we arrived at the property, we found that the blender wasn’t working. Within a few hours, a brand new one was delivered to us! The Anna Maria Vacations app makes communicating with the leasing office quick and easy. They also checked in with us the day after arrival to make sure that we were completely satisfied with the rental, which of course, we were!
We all miss the island, but will be back again. When we do come back, I hope that this home is still available as a rental. It was perfect for our family!
